Cross Report

Control radioed to Jill in the 2nd cross country field to see how that little Fjord horse was doing back there. It was taking a long time. Jill radioed that she was clear and on her way back, but it was all she could do not to add "she trotted all the way around the field and over all 4 fences, on the correct diagonal."  It WAS soooooooooo cute.

You know how dogs look like their owners? Jill realized who the young, solidly built rider was with her mother's question...

Waiting to cross the road, Jill heard all the chickadees chirping like crazy and swooping around in the middle of the street, so her attention was drawn to the rear left wheel of the vehicle at the intersection.  It kind of rolled back and then pulled out, in a smooth, continuous motion, flattening one bird previously pinned?  Jill cried out, realizing the little birdies had been trying to help their fellow, but it was over just as she observed what happened as well.  And her heart flew off with the three other flapping then instead of chirping fellow birds.  Did they all feel the same sorrow?

Jill wanted to imagine a handsome cowboy having a delicious dream about her. On facebook Tronas had told someone ELSE he'd expect their call, while travelling in the town where her sister lived.  She tried to think that at least it was nice to see a nice part of it in his pictures...

She vowed to let go of the latest obsession and agreed to go out for a beer with the golf pro.
